My Life

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look through my photos. Who am I? I am first a Christian Man, and try my hardest to live my life according to my relationship with God. I believe that people are the wealth of the world and it is a joy to see people from all walks of life and hear their stories. I am married to a beautiful woman who gave me two amazing kids. I am a musician and studied music in college to become a band director, but photography took my focus in my senior year. I play most instruments but my primary is the saxophone. Lastly, photography started when I bought a camera to take family photos for a vacation; I knew nothing about photography. Then, I started to wonder, what else can this amazing camera could do? My free time was spent asking questions, taking tons of pictures, and learning photo-editing software. Before I knew it, I had found a new passion, and gained a new skill.

My focus with photography is to tell a story; let me explain. A photograph should elicit an emotion, whether it is an intense emotion or a subtle one. My job as a photographer is to capture a powerful story told through contrasting light burned onto a piece of paper in a way that not only recalls a memory but recreates a moment in history. What does this mean for you? This means that your photos will be well thought out and unique to your story. Your photos wont just be poses that have been done and reused because they work well. Your photos will tell your story because it deserves to be told.
